Training and qualifications

Dr Darsh Patel qualified from Turner Dental Hospital in Manchester in 1998 and went on to pursue vocational training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Public Health and Paediatric Dentistry. During this period of training, Darsh obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians in Glasgow.

In 2002 Darsh started his specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital and he was awarded a Master’s qualification in Philosophy while studying for his dissertation on the subject of Orthognathic Surgery.

Darsh completed his specialist training in 2005 and was awarded a special prize for his excellent work on clinical cases in the Royal College exam; he became an official Member in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, England and was included on the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register for Orthodontists.

Darsh is a qualified provider of Incognito lingual braces and he uses a wide range of treatments to produce functional, beautiful smiles, including Damon braces, Damon Clear, Invisalign, Clearstep and the Inman Aligner.

Dr Darsh Patel is a very popular dentist with patients and colleagues alike; he has experience in treating adults and children, as well as nervous patients and is always willing to go the extra mile to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. Darsh has already helped to create hundreds of beautiful smiles and is very highly respected in his field.

Darsh has a passion for Orthodontics and he is always on the lookout for new innovations and treatments; he regularly attended courses and conferences to learn about new treatments and techniques.
