Traditionally, between 6 and 10 implants are needed for an entire arch, but with All-on-4, only 4 are required. This is because the placement of the implants makes use of the strongest jaw bone tissue. Normally, implants are placed at 90 degree angles, however with this system the two implants at the back of the bone are positioned at 45 degrees.
