What is Enlighten?

Enlighten is a very popular whitening system, which has appeared on a number o television makeover and lifestyle shows. Enlighten combines the advantageous aspects of home treatment and professional in-chair whitening to produce the best results and this is the only system that guarantees shade B1.

Enlighten treatment involves two key stages; during the first stage, the patient wears a whitening tray at home. The whitening tray is custom-made for the patient so that it fits perfectly and most people choose to wear their trays at night so that treatment does not impact on their normal daily routine.

After 2 weeks of wearing the custom-made whitening tray, we invite patients to come into the practice for an in-chair whitening treatment. The session takes just one hour and will give the teeth a final boost, creating a beautiful white smile. During the session, patients are asked to wear protective glasses and bleaching agent is applied to the teeth; a light beam is then directed onto the teeth to activate the whitening agent and after one hour, treatment is complete.
