About Dr Dipen Patel
Dr Dipen Patel is a registered Orthodontic Specialist.
He is a graduate of King’s College London, where he was nominated for the prestigious University of London Gold Medal. Dipen remained at King’s after graduation to pursue a Masters of Science in Orthodontics, before gaining his Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
An expert in all manner of brace systems – including fixed braces, Invisalign, and both Incognito and Win lingual (hidden) braces – Dipen is constantly working to improve both his craft and his expertise with the latest orthodontic innovations. He regularly attends conferences across Europe and the US, and holds membership in both the British Orthodontic Society and the American Association of Orthodontics.

Experience:
Dr Dipen Patel limits his practice to focus on providing the highest quality Orthodontic treatments. He has treated over 1000 patients with various brace systems. These include fixed braces, hidden Lingual braces, Damon braces and Invisalign Clear aligners. He has extensive experience treating children, teenagers and adults with these different brace systems.
Training and Qualifications:
Dr Patel graduated from King’s College London University with Honours. He was shortlisted for the highly prestigious University of London Gold Medal, which is awarded to the top dental student. Dr Patel specialised as an Orthodontist gaining his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeon’s in Edinburgh. He also gained a Master’s in Orthodontics with Merit from King’s College London University.Dr Patel has completed his Advanced Certification Course in Incognito Lingual Orthodontics. Dr Patel has also completed the Intensive Aligner Fellowship. Making him an expert in Invisalign and clear aligner orthodontic treatments. Dr Patel was shortlisted for the prestigious British Orthodontic Society, ‘Houston Research Scholar Award’ in 2018. He has published work in peer-reviewed dental journals and presented work at the European Orthodontic Conference.
Digital Workflow
Dr Patel is familiar with the latest trends and advancements in Orthodontics. He uses intra-oral scanners rather than traditional impressions and moulds of teeth. This helps with expediting up the manufacture and precision of fully customised and bespoke Lingual hidden braces and Invisalign clear aligner without the discomfort of taking moulds.
Memberships Held
Dr Patel holds a Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontists and the European Orthodontic Society. He attends multiple national and international conferences and courses to stay up to date with the latest trends in orthodontics. His recent travels have taken him to New York, Switzerland, Washington DC and Los Angeles.
