If so, you may require recontouring which involves removing small amounts of enamel in order to adjust a tooth’s length, shape or surface. Recontouring is a quick procedure that will give you immediate results.
There are some instances in which recontouring may not necessarily be the most appropriate treatment to help you achieve your goals. In this case, you may find aesthetic bonding or veneers a better alternative. Your dentist will be able to discuss these options with you at your consultation.
