A dental splint may provide relief from the following symptoms:
- Pain in the chewing muscles or jaw joint

- Stiff jaw muscles
- A jaw that locks or has limited movement
- Painful clicking, popping, or grating in the jaw joint
- Changes in the fit between upper and lower teeth
At Harley Street Dental Studio, your dentist will assess your symptoms in order to determine whether a splint may be right for you. This will be custom-made using impressions of your teeth.
It is usually advised to wear your dental splint throughout the night so as to prevent common night-time habits such as teeth grinding or jaw clenching, which will reduce the likelihood of you experiencing tension headaches and migraines.

Really great. Had a difficult time finding a dentist in the UK that felt as trustworthy, skilled and with as nice facilities as I had living the the states for years. The work I’ve had done was pain free, stress free, prompt and looks good. My check up and cleaning have also been very thorough and comfortable. Everyone is friendly and I would definitely recommend Harley Street and Dr Hughes. It isn’t cheap but you really get value for your spend.
