Dr. Mark Alexander Hughes BA. BDentSc. (Hons) (Dubl) DRDP (UCL)

Dr. Mark Hughes is the primary cosmetic dentist at the London practice of Harley Street Dental Studio. An honours graduate of Trinity College Dublin in 1992, Dr. Hughes also received post-graduate qualifications from London's prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. A Diplomate in Restorative General Practice, he has devoted himself to maintaining the high standard of clinical excellence that he has carried with him through every phase of his career. A Platinum rank Invisalign® provider and accredited CEREC® doctor, Dr. Hughes’ commitment to quality has made him a highly regarded cosmetic dentist in London. As a part of his devotion to continuing education, Dr. Hughes regularly attends training seminars worldwide. He has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) since 2001, and he completed the AACD's accreditation exams in San Diego in 2006. Dr. Hughes is also a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Hughes is highly sought after by actors and other celebrities in search of advanced cosmetic dentistry as well as facial aesthetic procedures. He himself consults in cosmetic dentistry for several national cosmetic surgery groups and lectures at public beauty and cosmetic conventions, including Body Beautiful at London's Olympia. Dr. Nick Fahey BDS M.Clin.Dent Pros, FRACDS, MRD RCS (Ed) Pros

Dr. Nick Fahey received his training as a dental surgeon in his native New Zealand before partnering with Dr. Mark Hughes and the team of cosmetic dentists at Harley Street Dental Studio. Dr. Fahey has successfully completed the distinguished qualifications necessary to earn him membership in Restorative Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh as well as a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgery. After having pursued three years of full-time postgraduate work at UCL Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health Sciences, Dr. Fahey obtained the M.Clin.Dent in fixed and removable prosthodontics. Today, Dr. Fahey’s areas of interest include dental implants, as well as aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Working with cosmetic dentist Dr. Mark Hughes at their London practice, Dr. Fahey divides his time between his role as doctor and his charitable commitment to various societies and organizations. Despite the demands of his practice, Dr. Fahey finds time to lecture on prosthodontics and dental implantology, and he enjoys membership in both the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology. In addition, Dr. Fahey has presided over the London Dental Study Club and is a founding member of the New Zealand Dental Society of London.

Dr. Adam Thorne BDS (Bristol)

Dr. Adam Thorne qualified from Bristol University in 1997 winning the Oral Surgery prize. After 2 years of working in London, he moved to Australia for a year where he worked in an elite private practice in Sydney. On returning to London he enthusiastically pursued his interests in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry. With his perfectionist nature he has created winning smiles for clients, models and celebrities. Dr Thorne has a special interest in smile makeovers involving the use of ceramic veneers, all porcelain crowns and whitening. He has completed a year long dental implant course, is an Invisalign® recognised dentist and continues to improve his skills by regularly attending courses worldwide in dentistry and facial aesthetics. Previously he was on the Clinical Board of a large dental Corporate Body and audited a number of their dentists and lectured to dental undergraduates. He is a member of both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Dental Association.

Dr. Federico Tinti DDS (Italy), MSc Periodontology (London)

Dr. Tinti specializes in periodontology, having earned special honours from the University of Bologna before moving on to train and garner much of his clinical and surgical experience in periodontics at New York University. From NYU, Dr. Tinti obtained a Masters of Science in periodontics at King’s College of London before joining our team at Harley Street Dental Studio, where he continues his work in periodontology while exploring the areas of gum cosmetics and pre-prosthetic surgical procedures.

Dr. Sarah Burns BDS, MSc, FDS, MOrth, RCS (Eng)

Dr. Sarah Burns comes to Harley Street Dental Studio as our specialist orthodontist. She qualified with honours in 1985 from University College Hospital Dental School, London. She gained her fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 1991, an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of London in 1994, and her membership in Orthodontics in 1995 following her post graduate studies at Guy's Hospital, London. Sarah has impressive experience in treating adults using orthodontics, including Invisalign®, and is practiced in the use of orthodontics in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Raquel Braga DDS (Brazil)

Dr. Braga comes to the Harley Street Dental Studio as a dentist with a special interest in endodontics. She obtained her dental qualifications from Brazil in 1994, before training as an endodontist also in her native country. Over the last nine years, she has gained extensive experience in root canal treatment and is keeping up to date by attending workshops and conferences on endodontics around the world. Currently, she is also a clinical teacher in acute dental care at King’s College and Guy’s Hospital.

Ms. Kathy Waters

As our most experienced hygienist, Kathy Waters hails from Perth, Australia. She received her hygienist qualification from King’s College Dental School in London in 1992. She then went on to work in various private practices in London before becoming a valued member of our team at Harley Street Dental Studio. In addition to her skill as a hygienist, Ms. Waters is qualified in osteopathy, and contributes her skill and expertise to treating patients with kindness and compassion.
