Dr. Mark Hughes is the primary cosmetic dentist at the London practice of Harley Street Dental Studio. An honours graduate of Trinity College Dublin in 1992, Dr. Hughes also received post-graduate qualifications from London's prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. A Diplomate in Restorative General Practice, he has devoted himself to maintaining the high standard of clinical excellence that he has carried with him through every phase of his career. A Platinum rank Invisalign® provider and accredited CEREC® doctor, Dr. Hughes’ commitment to quality has made him a highly regarded cosmetic dentist in London. As a part of his devotion to continuing education, Dr. Hughes regularly attends training seminars worldwide. He has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) since 2001, and he completed the AACD's accreditation exams in San Diego in 2006. Dr. Adam Thorne BDS (Bristol) 73107 Bristol

Dr. Adam Thorne qualified from Bristol University in 1997 winning the Oral Surgery prize. After two years of working in London, he moved to Australia for a year where he worked in an elite private practice in Sydney. On returning to London he enthusiastically pursued his interests in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry. With his perfectionist nature he has created winning smiles for clients, models and celebrities. Dr Thorne has a special interest in smile makeovers involving the use of ceramic veneers, all porcelain crowns and whitening. He has completed a year long dental implant course, is an Invisalign® recognised dentist and continues to improve his skills by regularly attending courses worldwide in dentistry and facial aesthetics. Dr. Nick Fahey received his training as a dental surgeon in his native New Zealand before partnering with Dr. Mark Hughes and the team of cosmetic dentists at Harley Street Dental Studio. Dr. Fahey has successfully completed the distinguished qualifications necessary to earn him membership in Restorative Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh as well as a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgery. After having pursued three years of full-time postgraduate work at UCL Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health Sciences, Dr. Fahey obtained the M.Clin.Dent in fixed and removable prosthodontics. Today, Dr. Fahey’s areas of interest include dental implants, as well as aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Working with cosmetic dentist Dr. Mark Hughes at their London practice, Dr. Fahey divides his time between his role as doctor and his charitable commitment to various societies and organisations. Despite the demands of his practice, Dr. Fahey finds time to lecture on prosthodontics and dental implantology, and he enjoys membership in both the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Federico Tinti DDS (Italy), MSc Periodontology (London) 78429 Bologna

Dr. Tinti has a special interest in periodontology, having earned special honours from the University of Bologna before moving on to train and garner much of his clinical and surgical experience in periodontics at New York University. From NYU, Dr. Tinti obtained a Masters of Science in periodontics at King’s College of London before joining our team at Harley Street Dental Studio, where he continues his work in periodontology while exploring the areas of gum cosmetics and pre-prosthetic surgical procedures.

Dr. Sarah Burns BDS, MSc, FDS, MOrth, RCS (Eng)

Dr. Sarah Burns comes to Harley Street Dental Studio as our specialist orthodontist. She qualified with honours in 1985 from University College Hospital Dental School, London. She gained her fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 1991, an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of London in 1994, and her membership in Orthodontics in 1995 following her post graduate studies at Guy's Hospital, London. Sarah has impressive experience in treating adults using orthodontics, including Invisalign®, and is practiced in the use of orthodontics in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Raquel Braga DDS (Brazil) 110065 Minas Gerais

Dr. Braga comes to Harley Street Dental Studio as a general dentist with special interest in endodontics. She obtained her dental qualifications in Brazil in 1994, before training as a specialist in endodontics in her native country. Over the last 10 years, she has gained extensive experience in root canal treatment and is constantly kept up to date by attending all workshops and conferences on endodontics around the world. Currently, she is also a clinical teacher in acute dental care at King’s College. In addition, Dr. Braga sees patients for endodontic treatment at the Royal London Hospital and by private referral at the Woodborough House Dental Practice and here at our very own Harley Street Dental Studio.

Dr. Sally Goss RDH FETC DDHE

Sally is a very experienced hygienist and has worked with periodontal and implant specialists for many years. She was President of the British Dental Health Foundation 1997-2000 and is a Director of Practice Doctor Ltd.  She was voted ‘The Probe’ Hygienist of the Year in 2000.  She was a member of the Government Task group ‘NHS Dentistry Options for Change’ in 2001 and Hygienist Mentor to Boots Dentalcare until 2004.  She has been an Editorial Board member of numerous dental journals and  she has a regular 6-weekly slot on BBC advising listeners on dental problems.

Dr. Darsh Patel - BDS(Manc) MFDS RCPS(Glas) M.Phil(Bham) M.Orth RCS(Eng) Specialist Orthodontist

Darsh Patel graduated from the Turner Dental Hospital - Manchester in 1998. His Vocational Training in London involved Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health which provided fantastic grounding to become a Specialist orthodontist.

During this time he obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow.

In 2002 he undertook his Specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During his training he was awarded a Masters in Philosophy with his dissertation on "Orthognathic Surgery".

In 2005 he obtained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England and a prize for excellence for his clinical cases in the Royal College exam. He subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Councils Specialist list to hold the title of "Specialist Orthodontist".

Surrounded by the most modern, state-of-the-art technology as well as art influenced by classical and contemporary design, you will not recognize Harley Street Dental Studio as the facility it is. We want you to feel transported while you leave your care to us.

You can relax as you watch a film on our impressive plasma screen television or listen to soothing music on a Bang & Olufsen stereo. Our comfortable furnishings support British design, with appointments by David Linley, Casamilano, and Shane Taylor. The final touch of home can be seen in the fresh flowers, lovingly arranged by Jane Packer.
