Articles What Are CFast Braces And How Do They Work In Central London?

How can we help?

CFast is an innovative orthodontic system, which was developed by Dr Biju Krishnan. The treatment is designed to provide patients with an aesthetically-pleasing orthodontic solution and patients have a great deal of flexibility with this treatment.

CFast concentrates on the ‘social 6’, the 6 teeth at the front of the mouth, which are visible when you smile.

How does CFast work?

The treatment process is very simple; clear brackets are fitted to the teeth and the arch-wire is then threaded through. Treatment can then begin; in most cases, treatment only takes 6 months. The brackets are wires produce forces, which gradually move the teeth into position.

Who can benefit from CFast?

Patients who have minor or moderate orthodontic issues affecting their front teeth are the best candidates for CFast, although all patients will gain some benefits from this system.

What are the advantages of CFast braces?

The major benefit of CFast braces is that they are almost invisible; the brackets and wires are clear and the brace is much lighter and more delicate than conventional fixed braces. CFast is also a very quick treatment; typically, treatment takes 6 months, which makes this a great option for patients who are getting ready for a special occasion.

CFast is a very simple treatment and it also more affordable than many other treatments.

What happens after treatment?

After treatment with CFast braces, we recommend wearing a removable or fixed retainer. Retainers help to hold the teeth in their new position and preserve the new, straight smile. Contact us at Harley Street Dental Studio in Central London for more information.
