What is Invisalign Lite?

Invisalign Lite is part of the Invisalign system; Invisalign is a hugely popular treatment, which has taken the world by storm because it is able to straighten the teeth without anyone being able to tell that you are wearing braces. Invisalign is not like a traditional orthodontic treatment; rather than using fixed braces made of wires and brackets, Invisalign uses a series of transparent aligners to move the teeth.

Invisalign Lite works in exactly the same way as Invisalign, but the treatment is designed for patients with minor orthodontic problems; fewer aligners are needed and treatment time is shorter.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign works by using a series of custom-made aligners; each aligner is worn for two weeks and then replaced with the next aligner. The aligners are removable, but you have to wear them for at least 21 hours per day to ensure that treatment is successful. Invisalign Lite aligners are the same as Invisalign aligners, but treatment time is shorter and therefore the number of aligners is smaller.
