About Dr Bob McLelland
Dr. Bob McLelland is a highly experienced and respected restorative and cosmetic dentist with a career spanning over 25 years.
Passionate about creating bespoke, beautiful smiles, Bob is known for his meticulous approach to smile design, complex restorative cases, and full-mouth rehabilitations. His patient-centric philosophy focuses on achieving natural, long-lasting results that enhance both aesthetics and function.
Having trained extensively in the UK and internationally, Bob has worked alongside some of the world’s leading clinicians in restorative dentistry, implantology, and occlusal rehabilitation.
His expertise is sought after by both patients and peers, making him a trusted name in advanced dental care.
Bob graduated with distinction from the University of Dundee in 1993, earning multiple academic accolades, including a Merit in Prosthetic Dentistry.
He further honed his skills with a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Leeds, alongside postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons.
His career includes serving as a Dental Officer in the Royal Air Force, attaining the rank of Squadron Leader, before transitioning into private practice. He has held key clinical positions at renowned dental centres, including St Ann’s Dental Clinic in Manchester, Harley Street Dental Clinic, and Hale Dental and Implant Clinic, where he was the principal dentist.
Bob is also an esteemed educator, serving as Co-Director and Lecturer at the Centre for Advanced Dental Education (CADE). He has lectured nationally and internationally, training thousands of dentists in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. His expertise in occlusal studies, TMJ disorders, and full-mouth rehabilitations has made him a sought-after mentor for colleagues across the UK and Ireland.
