Your diet is really important for your oral health, so try and make sure you bear your teeth in mind when you’re shopping. Limit your intake of sweet and acidic foods and try and stick to sugar-free snacks. Cooking at home gives you control of the ingredients you use and this can often be a much healthier option to ordering takeaways or buying ready-made meals.
Good oral hygiene is your best weapon against dreadful dental diseases, so don’t forget to devote 2 minutes of your time to brushing every morning and night. Brush gently to avoid eroding your enamel and use fluoride toothpaste to strengthen your teeth and reduce the risk of decay. Be thorough and make sure you cover every surface of each individual tooth. Floss or use inter-dental brushes on a daily basis to clean the cracks between the teeth.
