How can we help?

If you have missing teeth, particularly in highly visible parts of the mouth, it can have a huge impact on your day to day life. If you want to feel confident again when you speak, eat and smile, why not consider dental implants to restore your smile to its former glory?

About dental implants

Dental implants are replacements for the natural tooth root and resemble small screws. These implants are fitted into small openings that will be created in your jawbone in order to support the new teeth.

If you have a tooth extracted, implants can be placed on the same day to create immediate contact between the jawbone and the implant. This creates better stability as the bone begins to grow.

When an implant is placed, it can support a crown, denture or dental bridge to help restore your smile.

Treatment time

Although the initial process might seem quick and straightforward, it’s important to remember that the overall treatment time can take up to three months. You’ll be required to attend check-ups to ensure the implant has bonded to the bone. All of this is, however, dependant on the individual and their treatment plan. The results of dental implants are long-term.

Although dental implants are a good way to replace missing teeth and restore your smile, they aren’t always suitable for everyone. Your suitability will be determined beforehand at Harley Street Dental Studio when we check the health and density of your jawbone. In some cases, a bone graft might be required.
