We strongly recommend 6-9 monthly appointments for adults and children. If you do have toothache, swollen gums or any other dental problems in the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch, as it is always best to treat problems as early as possible. We also recommend regular dental hygiene sessions.
This might sound obvious, but surveys show that many people don’t brush their teeth twice a day for the recommended time. We urge all our patients to spend 2 minutes every morning and evening giving their teeth a thorough clean. Take care to cover every tooth surface, clean your tongue and use fluoride toothpaste. Don’t forget to change your brush or brush head every 3-4 months.
Diet has an important role to play when it comes to oral health. Sugar consumption is particularly important, so moderate your intake and try to avoid sugary drinks and sweet treats, especially between meals.
