Bridge the Gap. How Dental Bridges can Easily Remove a Gap in Your Teeth

How can we help?

If you have a missing tooth, this can affect your confidence. You may be apprehensive about showing off your smile in public or dread meeting new people. If you’ve lost a tooth, don’t lose hope. With dental bridges, we can restore your smile and boost your confidence before you know it.

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a prosthetic dental device, which is designed to bridge the gap left by a missing tooth. There are various types of bridge, but most patients are provided with a traditional fixed bridge. In this case, the false tooth is anchored by a crown on either side. We use ceramic materials to produce a natural looking replacement for the lost tooth, and once the bridge is in place, you won’t be able to tell the difference between your teeth and the bridge.

All our bridges are custom-designed for a perfect fit, and our aim is always to ensure a natural result. We want you to feel confident when you smile for years to come.

Bridge treatment usually involves two sessions. During the first, we’ll draw up a treatment plan, make an impression of your teeth, and ensure you know what’s going on, and how your bridge will benefit you. when your bridge is ready, we’ll ask you to pop back and see us, and we’ll fit the bridge, and show you your fabulous new smile.

How long should a bridge last?

It’s really important to care for your bridge once it has been fitted. You should continue to brush your teeth as normal, and attend regular dental checks. We will have a look at your bridge and any other crowns or fillings every time you have a routine check-up. Ideally, bridges should last around 10-15 years. Once they start to show signs of wear and tear, they can be replaced.
