How we can help patients with dental phobia

We understand that it’s very common to suffer from dental phobia, and we can help patients who feel very nervous or anxious to feel more relaxed. Many people who suffer from dental phobia put off going to the dentist for years and this can put their health at risk. We want to make going to the dentist a stress-free experience.

We offer a wide range of treatments and techniques that can help to ease dental fear. Examples include:

• No-drill dentistry: many people have a fear of the dental drill, which makes them feel very anxious about having dental treatment. If you’re worried about coming into contact with the dreaded drill, we offer a solution. We are proud to offer drill-free dentistry using the Aquacut Quattro. We can remove decayed tissue and prepare teeth for fillings without the need for drilling in a painless, hassle-free procedure.
• Sedation: we undertake treatment under sedation for patients who are nervous and those who are having complex procedures. Sedation is not the same as general anaesthetic, but you will feel completely calm throughout the procedure and you won’t experience any pain. After sedation, it can take a little while to come around fully, so we recommend asking a friend or relative to accompany you home.
