What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 is an implant system with a difference. With this treatment, patients are able to enjoy instant results, as the implants and the restorations are fitted on the same day. The name All-on-4 comes from the fact that the entire arch of teeth is supported by just four implants. Traditionally, between 6 and 10 implants are needed for a full arch and treatment takes place over several months.

All-on-4 uses four dental implants, two at the front and two at the back. Usually, implants are placed at 90 degree angles, but with this system, the two implants at the back of the mouth are positioned at 45 degree angles. The positioning of the implants is designed to accelerate the healing process and take advantage of the most dense bone tissue, which is located at the front of the jaw.
