Elena Sanz,
Lic Odont Barcelona 2005, (GDC: 174274)

Elena was born in Valencia, Spain. She studied Dentistry at the University of Barcelona for 5 years and completed a 3-year full time Masters Degree focused in Periodontology, Implants and Prosthodontics.

During these 3 years she initiated a PhD in Periodontology.

After practising at private practices in Barcelona, Dr Sanz has limited her practice to Periodontics, Implants and Prosthodontist whilst lecturing on Implants and prosthetics to general dental practitioners at a Harley Street Clinic.

She regularly attends advanced courses and seminars to further her knowledge on subjects such as occlusion, radiology and mandibular function. She is part of a research group that in May 2009 received a grant from the Spanish Society of Periodontics to develop a systematic review and meta-analysis of periodontal maintenance, to be published by a prestigious scientific organization.

Dr Sanz is a member of the General Dental Council, the Spanish Society of Periodontology (SEPA) and the Association of Implant Dentistry (UK). She is fluent in Spanish, English and Catalan.
