What is Enlighten and what does treatment involve?

Enlighten is widely regarded as the best whitening treatment on the market at the moment. It is proven to produce incredible results, which last for years and it is a safe, reliable treatment. Enlighten treatment involves a combination of home whitening and in-chair treatment. Before you start treatment, we invite you to attend a consultation and we’ll tell you all about the treatment and make some moulds of your teeth. These moulds will be used to sculpt your bespoke Enlighten whitening trays. These trays contain whitening agent, which lightens the tooth enamel on contact. Ideally, you should wear your whitening trays for around 6 hours per day for 14 consecutive days. You can wear the trays at night to fit in with your schedule and your social life.

When you have completed 14 days of home treatment, we’ll arrange an appointment for you and you can come in for your in-chair session. This is a 1-hour treatment, which will give your smile that extra sparkle. The procedure is very simple and you don’t have to worry about pain. We’ll simply ask you to put some goggles on, apply whitening agent to your teeth and then shine a light on your smile to activate the ingredient. The outcome will be a gorgeous glowing smile!
